The WEX3 motor adheres to the highest standards of ingress protection, ensuring unparalleled safety with an IP55 rating. Dependingon customer requirements, this motor can be customized to be supplied with advanced IP56, IP65 or IP66 protection. This ensuresoptimal
safety. The protection level of the shell primarily serves to shield against electric shock for the human body and prevents exposure to live parts or moving components. It effectively guards against intrusion of solid particles and provides robust protection against harmful effects caused by water and oil. Cooling method
The cooling methods for electrical machines are stated in code according to IEC 60034-6. The code consists of the letters IC (International Cooling) and a three-digit number.

WEX3 standard Insulation grade is F grade insulation, and the temperature rise limit is assessed as B grade (Δ80K), to further improve the service life In the power supply environment and service environment, depending on customerrequirements, this range can be supplied with H grade insulation. optimal performance. Noise levels
Noise levels are not just below, but significantly below those specified in EN 60034-9. Noise measurements are performed according to EN ISO 1680 and EN 21680, ensuring a class 2 standard in an anechoic room. The sound pressure level "Lp" and the sound powerlevel "Lw" in dB(A) are clearly indicated for the individual frame sizes in the operating datasheets. They apply for rated loads at 50 Hz, plus a convenient tolerance ofvariations. With a noise level of +3 dB(A), our motors are designed to meet the highest rated loads, even at 60Hz. Trust in our reliable performance, whether you need a 2P motor or prefer a solution with a tolerance of +5dB(A), and with 4P motors or more, experience noise levels of +3dB(A).

Important Note: 1. Information in the table pertains to motors operating at 50Hz motors. For 60Hz motors, the service interval should be adjusted by multiplying with 0.8.
2. For vertical motor installations, the lubrication interval must be halved by 2.

Peak radial force (specifically for pulley drive systems): The peak permissible radial force ensures optimal performance. F0(unit: N) for radial load is based on the premise that the load line (center of pulley) must be within the length of the motor shaft extension (the motor shaft elongation is shown in the installation size code E size). The radial force length X (mm) is the distance from the axial extension shoulder to the radial force F0 action line, so when the length X= Max, it is the total length of the axial extension (size value E). Maximum allowable radial force as below table.

For standard ball bearings, under the In operation of permissible load capacity, the bearing design longevity of the motor can achieve the following benchmarks: at least 20000 hours for the 2-pole motor, 4 poles, 6 pole motor at least 30000 hours (in reference to the motor's life under standard conditions at 50Hz and routine maintenance as stipulated).
